Finally, I have a bit of a better period, and I am hoping it will stick with me for now. My mental state is still like a time bomb; I never know when my anxiety will go off the charts again, but I am trying my best to keep cool. I am just trying not to think too much about the things that are triggering me and take one day at a time. My productivity is still very low, and I don’t do much with my creativity, but I am grateful I can enjoy the time and am learning that sometimes it’s good just to enjoy the moments of laziness and not feel guilty for it. I can say I am taking the whole experience as a lesson. I am definitely learning many things from this period, and I think the most important one is learning how to enjoy the moment, even though my mind is trying to make plans every day. I was taught always to think about the future, always be prepared for the next step, and have a plan. Now, I am just trying to be present. For someone with anxiety, this is very hard. As they say: people with depression live in the past, and those with anxiety live in the future. The unknown is very scary for me.
