Started a cool neck tattoo for @drakekemper recently, based on the Last Supper painting 🔥 Here’s my step-by-step breakdown of the first session: At first we tested my barber’s skills. Ways to learn for sure, but not the worst result 😅 Drake already had the front side of his neck tattooed, so my goal was to finish the rest of the neck, and fit the image between the wings. I decided to split the stencil into three parts to help it wrap around the neck better. The middle part with Jesus went first, then the sides. The right side’s leveling didn’t look right to me, so I erased that part with alcohol and Bactine, and re-applied the stencil. At first I thought about just keeping the middle part of the table under Jesus, but then figured out the right way to warp/bend the table so it wraps around the neck nicely 👌🏽 Then I mapped out the whole thing and packed some darker parts of the image (and somehow forgot to take pictures of it afterwards).
