I can’t believe it’s been 7 years since I did this design on @annekesagn.. time flies! 

Within the design you can spy the Warg of Nordic mythology eating the sun, hence the play on the Bronze Age sun cross on Mira’s temple. It’s not completely clear if Fenris and Sköl are the same creature or not, after all most of the gods and minor characters have multiple names known as “kennings” to help aid skalds with poetic flow. 

You can see on her neck we sketched out how to continue the design, as this tattoo is partly a coverup.
