This piece, ‘The Wandering House,’ features a spirit that has chosen to possess a house—a shapeless being capable of inhabiting objects or even other creatures. Once a house is possessed, it takes on a life of its own, becoming incredibly sought after for its unique abilities. These sentient houses are often hunted down and tamed by the House Hunting Society, a group that captures and sells them to the highest bidder. In my story, Emha—my main character—was once a part of this society but chose to leave, unable to accept their methods. Her journey with the tea house reflects her quest to create a different path, one built on trust and mutual respect. I’m so so excited! to dedicate myself to expanding The Haunted Tea House through narrative flash tattoos in the coming year. I am so incredible thankful for all of my clients that have already gotten their haunted tea house flashes!!!
