Had a lot of fun making this little @innout gal on my old friend @la_pachuquita13 . This design was inspired by a rad piece of art made by my friend the legendary @juliebolene. I did my best to make ours as different as possible without taking away from the general idea and theme of the design. @tattedtravelinguy ‘s California square on his United States tattooer leg. This dude has been traveling the U.S. collecting tattoos from rad tattooers all over the country. Well what a roller coaster ride 2024 was! Had to be the most difficult year so far but I always take it back to the absolute proudest moment of my life and highlight of my year had to be watching the legendary @brunocorsotattoo finally get the credit he so very much deserves at the @grandcanyontattooconvention . (My son’s birth had to be a close second) I actually brought this story up to my aunt recently and couldn’t even get through the whole story without choking up.

Merry Christmas to you all! Thank you so much for supporting my dream, I am extremely fortunate to be able to sit around,draw and make a living doing what the good lord put me on this earth to do. It seems to have been a rough year for most of us but struggle breeds greatness so power through my friends. You are all very much appreciated and your support does not go unnoticed. We all get tattooed for different reasons - sometimes it’s a spur of the moment thing you’ve just gotta do, and sometimes it’s something you’ve been thinking about FOREVER. My client today has a lifelong love for Alice in Wonderland and we created this as a combination of imagery from the original book illustrations and the animated Disney movie. Fineline and #singleneedle throughout. What was the reason for your last tattoo?

Work in progress! No edits, no filters, I don't do that kind of thing - just a very honest look at a #sleevetattoo in progress with pics taken from my ancient iPhone with zero fancy lighting. ;)

My client here is amazing. Want to get a sleeve and do it right? Do it the way my client did. Have cool ideas. Listen to my input. Lay out the whole thing instead a trying to build around something tiny, piece by piece. Come for sessions on a regular schedule (once a month for him). Sit like a rock. Come to sessions well fed, well rested, sober, and hydrated. Be a rad person.

I'm a super patient artist so I never mind answering questions via DM, but not every #tattooartist is as patient... and not every one uses DMs to communicate. "all of the love I seek living inside of me" - I do lots and lots of tiny script tattoos and rarely post them, but when I do one straight down the spine with the finest of liners...and I get the stencil right on the FIRST try... I'm going to commemorate it! I tell everyone: I get the stencil on the first try or the 40th with these kinds of tattoos!
