My client wanted to get a tattoo that touched on the idea of death being peaceful and not something to be afraid of.

Tattoo done on a great client while I was at the Inked Hearts Tattoo Convention. At the end of the tattoo he told me the a story of how lighthouses gave him a sense of security. I’m thrilled that one of my designs was able to touch on something that was important to him.

Filling in odd gaps on sleeves doesn’t have to be boring. Often time I see these gaps filled with smoke or clouds. This client wanted some more interesting so we added the skull and flower to fill the space.
