I started this painting in 2021. The pandemic was an unprecedented time that exposed many unruly truths about human nature. A stimulus check became salvation and Ben Franklin our self-anointed messiah. I found this behavior deeply disturbing, and in a time where much of society placed their hope in money, I turned to my 𝗔𝗿𝘁. 🎨
