Thanks to everyone who gets tattooed by me or supports what I’m up to in other ways. I’ve had a big year and I’m very grateful to have been kept happy, busy and challenged throughout it. Thank you all for being so cool.

I won’t be back to work until the 7th of January and will get to any inquiries or bookings then. In the mean time I’ll be hanging out with my family. My kid turns one next month and I need to take a minute to work out where that time has gone.

Rachel’s Pictish/celtic legs. I’ve been working with Rachel on this project for the better part of a year now. Still a little bit more to go on the inside thigh but seeing as it’s the end of the year, this was a good point to get a photograph. Thanks Rachel.

Around the knee on the left hand side was done a week or so before taking this photo and is still healing a little.

A few shots from the last session on Euans back.

As I said the last time I posted this one, dots aren’t my first language in tattooing. It worked well in this particular tattoo as we wanted to further elaborate on his existing shoulder pieces that were done a few years back, by @jasoncorbett

Thomas’s knee. This was the final thing to do for this project, other than a few touch ups here and there. Thank you for your determination in getting this finished, man. It’s been really great to work with you on this one.

I’ll post some photographs of the full thing at some point soon.

I’ve also bought a new camera. Bear with my whilst I figure out what I’m doing with it.

Finished up on this one with Hamish.

All focused around the Pictish bull, the Portmahomack calf stone and hamish’s star sign. Hamish was the one to discover the Portmahomack calf stone during an archeological dig some years ago.

Pictish spiral ornaments, Celtic knots and a repeatable bluebell design that I’ve been working with lately. I really like the way this one came out. Thanks to Marceau for coming by and getting tattooed whilst on a trip from France, it was great to hang out man!

Freehand work to finish off Omercans arm. Thanks for coming by and having me do it man.

It was cool to work entirely freehand for this one. It’s something I’d like to practise more of going forward with this style. We took Pictish and Celtic spiralling forms and included influences that were already present in Omercans existing tattoos. I really like where we ended up.
