ABOUT ME
I wanted to introduce myself and share my story with you. It takes courage to put yourself out there, but I hope this can help you know me better.
My name is Antonio, and I am an Italian tattoo artist based in Liverpool.
I’m also a husband and a Dad.

I started learning the art of tattooing at the age of 15 from a person whom I still consider my big brother.
The studio where I was learning was in an illegally occupied building and often I had to go to people’s houses to work, I know that’s not ideal but I am still proud of where I come from.

After a few years, I decided to move to Barcelona seeking more experience and to improve my skills. I left Italy with only €500 in my pocket, but I was lucky enough to have friends who helped me out. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a studio to work in Barcelona, maybe because I wasn’t skilled enough back then.

So I returned to Italy after a year. But I didn’t give up. I saved €1000 in 3-4 months and moved to London to pursue my dream. The first studio where I worked was in a nail shop, which was not ideal. However, I kept searching for a better studio where I could learn and exchange knowledge with other tattoo artists. Finally, I found a good studio and I felt good working there.

In the middle of everything that was happening, I met my partner. Two years later, we decided to move in together into a small apartment.

Then 2020 came, and with it, COVID-19 and the lockdowns. I didn’t have any money saved and our apartment in London was expensive.
To make matters even more challenging, my girlfriend became pregnant.

That was my wake-up call.

We decided to move to Liverpool, where my partner is from. I started to work hard to change all my bad habits and to develop good ones.

After the lockdown was lifted, I was fortunate enough to secure a job in a good tattoo studio in Liverpool.
My spouse and I have found a lovely home, got married and started planning our future together.
Our son is now four years old, and I always strive to be the best version of myself for my family.
