Beast-head with runes for Max. This is a bit different to my usual work and was an absolute blast to do. Any runic tattoo comes with a brief explanation of the origins and differences of the Elder and Younger futhark, the Saxon Futhorc and the limitations of each. From there we collaborate on what is going to best suit each individual, in this case Max went with the Elder Futhark for the main piece of writing and I’m super stoked with how it came out!

Finished off Howell’s Berserker-themed sleeve today and I can’t wait to show you all the little details we added. For now, here’s a shot of the work as a whole, with its sister piece. Now we just need to work on that back piece! It’s been an absolute pleasure tattooing these pieces and I am very grateful to Howell for his patience!

Bear Claw for Ike in honour of his Grandad. This was a bit different for me but a classic tattoo idea I’d always wanted to put my spin on so I jumped at the chance to do it for Ike. Trying to fit knots into the shape of the bear’s paw print was a challenge but I’m so happy with how it turned out!

Six years since I made this panther for Jag. Having come all the way from Australia, it’s also six years since Jag saw snow for the first time! This really felt like a turning point in my career, having someone travel from so far, and also with the piece being a cover up of sorts. Still proud of it years later.
