Oh my heart, this piece. A good friend and fellow tattooer had this client reach out to her for help to correct this tattoo. She sent her my way, as coverups and repairs are my specialty. This tattoo had so much sentimental meaning and she felt so defeated by how it came out. I always feel so heartbroken for these clients when they find me, but also i am overjoyed because I KNOW I CAN MAKE THIS RIGHT and rebuild their confidence in tattoo artists. As you can see we needed to correct so much, the body, the wing, the ribbon representing brain cancer, coverup the oddly placed bottom wing with leaves, and give her an EYE!
