MY HEART IS FULL! Conventions are hard for me to summarize, but it’s like 600 friends all moving into an apartment complex with all of their belongings at the same time. It’s exhausting. It’s stressful. No one knows where anything is. On the same day you all move into your apartments, you have to throw a party for 5000 strangers at your new complex. You start in the weeds and you stay in the weeds because it’s fucking busy, chaotic at times. While you’re running to get something, you’re high fiving the other movers because you’re happy to see them, you share in the chaos. You forgot things (SO many things!) but everyone helps each other and you all get through it together. You hug your friends. You hug the strangers, they’re friends now too. You laugh, you bond, you suck at what you do sometimes. Sometimes you crush it. You get to catch up with folks at the end of the day while your eyes are crossed and your brain stopped working hours before and THERE’S NO COFFEE! It’s the best time. It’s bonding. You feel connected. It’s been 72 hrs. You fall in love over and over and then it’s time to pack up all of your things again and move out of your apartment. You’re exhausted. You say goodbye to that place, to all of your friends. You’re totally out of energy and you have a long way to go to get back home. But it was worth it and you can’t wait to do it all again next year. Thank you to everyone that comes and gets tattooed. We love you. Thanks to @slctattooexpo it’s a wild ride and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 💛🙌💛
