What a ride it’s been . Most of you know the story. But it’s important for me to tell it every year . If for nothing else to give someone some hope. March 8 and 9 will always be important dates . March 8 2005 went on our first date . And March 9th 2006 we opened Lefty’s . 19 years . If you had told me 19 years ago this is where I’d be I would’ve thought you were crazy . 20 years ago strung out on drugs and a dirt ball. 19 years ago Keri got a $1500 tax return and we rented a building and that was all the money we had . It’s been a helluva journey. I’m thankful to everyone that’s been there along for the ride . And thankful for those that are along for the ride now . We’ve had some amazing artists get their start at our shop and truly thankful I got to be a part of their beginning . Whether we are still friends or not I am proud of every one of them . Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those that put their trust in us , refer their family and friends and continue to support us. Without you we wouldn’t be us . 19 years is a long time to do anything and I’m truly thankful because it probably saved my life . Thank you to all the artists that I’ve got to spend time with. Answer my questions. Critique my work . Push me to be better. The list is long . Please know I’m truly grateful for every minute we’ve spent together. Hoping we have another 19 in us . I’ll take what I can get because it’s already been a better run than I could’ve imagined or likely even deserved. Thank you ……..
