👑 queen of swords 🗡️ . Story time: I used to tattoo a LOT of tarot based pieces. Not sure when or why it started but I was asked to do them a lot and it’s one of the subject matters I never say no to. I never read cards for anyone other then myself, I don’t think id be really good at it, but for some reason creating this type of imagery for clients based on the symbology in the cards was always something that I feel I nailed. I don’t think I’d consider this intuitive tattooing, but more like I study the cards and create something based on vibes? Idk. Anyway I haven’t been asked to do one in a number of years which makes sense in a way that I didn’t feel like I was in a place where I could create them. Maybe the vibrations finally met or matched up, and Stephanie asked me for a queen of swords piece and wanted to come to see me in Tucson for it. My approach to this piece was different than usual and I was actually a bit scared she wouldn’t like the interpretation, but she immediately said yes and I cannot express how excited I am to finish this piece for her. I guess I came here to ramble, and say how grateful I am that yall trust me and my work enough to fly accross the whole damn country for something that neither of us knows what’s gonna turn into until we are creating it, and reflect on how lucky I feel to finally trust my gut again. . Done in one full day (6 hrs) session in Tucson @laquerida_tucson . Thank you so much for your trust Stephanie, I can’t wait to see her finished soon 🫶🏻 . . . . . #tattoo #tarottattoo #queenofswords #tucson #tucsontattoo #arizonatattooartist #tucsontattooartist #laquerida_tucson #downtowntucson
