New style Japanese theme outside sleeve. Okay, I need to share about this one : That was the most challenging piece I did in years. I usually need 3 sessions of 6 hours ton complete an outside sleeve where I here needed 4 sessions…packed over 3 days haha Two consecutive session of 9 hours. That was tough. I’m getting there, more and more confortable with color, I try to bend it to my will, which is really different than black. The creative process remains the same, still based on the geometry shapes. But I wanted something that would blend together everything with an homogeneous background. And that when I came up with the orange clouds. Which was originally a lighter shade of red but once I was facing the stencil on the arm of my client, I thought we needed more contrast, something that would create a real difference. I’m beyond happy with this, and cannot thank Florian enough for the trust he gave me on this.
