Watching dating life in Bali is quite an experience. It’s fun to take part in it, but at the same time… where is this all leading? 🤪 I’ve been here for three years, watching people chase a hundred things, but aren’t we all chasing the same? 🧐 We live in the Aquarius era ~freedom, independence. I can adapt to it easily.. like I am an Aquarius.. but it is SO beautiful to create something real, with better quality… real bonds are fading? Maybe that’s just part of being a traveler… we don’t attach easily. And yes, that’s our superpower too.. But love is different. The essence of love is slowly being forgotten? I don’t agree 😹! We try to feed ourselves with something superficial, but real feelings nourish us much deeper. But… who isn’t afraid to go there? 🫠 We want seek growth through light ~pleasure, fun, ease. But true evolution isn’t comfortable. True intimacy ~ it’s born in meeting also our shadows. But many are afraid of that. So we keep our options open, and when something feels uncomfortable, we move on. I’ve been there too. I don’t judge ~I just observe. I see these two worlds surrealistically intertwining here ~ Balinese families and us, the expats and tourists. Balinese count their wealth in loved ones. And I wonder… are we moving away from this? Real, deep bound? 🧡 Beneath the freedom, the chasing, the endless options, I see something else~ a bit of insecurity hiding under the mask of independence. A fear of not being enough, of not being truly seen. So we stay on the surface. We collect experiences like souvenirs, but deep down… we crave something more. Another truth is ~ we love our lives here in Bali 🩵 We’re not rushing. Life is good. And maybe that’s why love requires more from us ~more intention, more devotion. Because we don’t need it ~we must choose it. But if we do… life becomes even more beautiful, even more magical. At the end of the day, you can keep swiping… or finally sit down, have a coconut, and face what you’re really looking for. Anyway.. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a love life in Bali!
