A ray of light from this past week. First tattoo for Birdie, who marked her birthday with this elegant star. You never forget your first tattoo - the nervous excitement, the anticipation of an unknown sensation, the rush of realizing that the process is NOT as bad as you thought it would be. In fact, choosing to mark your own body can be quite a euphoric experience. I still really love doing the “firsts”, whether big or small, on the 18 year olds or the 80 year olds.
