I have spent one year tattooing in Seattle. I sold most of my belongings, shoved everything in my car and I off. Filled with mixed emotions, those that stood out the most were the feelings of excitement and relief. This was a new chapter in my life.

Recently I made a very unexpected quick trip back to Chattanooga. Exactly a year since I’ve been back. I was very overwhelmed with my situation. But had returning clients who expressed how happy they were to see me. I didn’t realize the impression had I left. I was able to compare the work I did when I was an apprentice to now. I’ve grown so much. There were moments where I was left saying β€œwow, I did that!” And clients responding with joy β€œyeah you did!”

I left and came back to Seattle with brighter eyes and some new perspective.
There are moments where I still can’t believe that I am here.

A special thank you to @kayboaktattoo @kittykonniption @john_mcleod_art @the.hurty.south
Y’all have really kept me afloat leaving and coming back to Chattanooga. It gave me opportunity to reflect and see the growth I have made in one year. Y’all will always have a special place in my heart.

And thank you so much for support! Im excited for the next year and the future clients I will meet. Here’s a lil photo dump of pieces I reworked, old and new.

My books are open for December and January. The link is on my bio. πŸ–€
