I got a chance to see this Batman coverup healed and suntanned 🫠🫠 but as most tattoos do end up in the sun and a lil tanned. I wanted to show yall a healed photo with a CPL lens under cold light, a CPL under neutral lighting (daylight lightbulb), outside in the shade no lens, outside in the shade with a CPL lens and natural light, and one in the sun no lens. As you can see alot of the opaque grays have browned a bit in the sun kinda taking away that cold feeling, but it was necessary to use them with greywash to fully saturate the cover up. We are gonna be doing a few touchups. Some blending, darkening and adding a lil batman signal to the sky. Overall very happy with this experiment and process of doing a cover up without any laser removal. I can still see portions of the previous tattoo showing through and that is almost always gonna happen with a cover up but I think the distraction is so drastic it goes pretty unnoticed. Hope you enjoy all these different photo versions and hope it helps further understand what is possible for a cover up as well as how things look healed and with normal day to day exposure. As well as how we as artists present our tattoos in the best way we can. For those of you who are unaware a CPL filter essentially blocks any glare. All photos are taken with an Iphone. In my opinion this tattoo will look even better after one more pass and during winter when its had time to lose the suntan and the inks are showing its truer hues and values.
