Please welcome @john_monsta  to the Sydney Tattoo Convention. John got his first tattoo in the navy in 1987 and ever since he’s been hooked on tattoos and tattooing. John’s self taught, learning the art from observing and getting tattoos, in the early days, from Adrian Jury and Deane Holland and later Dean Sacred. John was the owner/operator of Monsta Truck Tattoo in the east coast town of Napier New Zealand for 23 years (1995-2018). Nowadays John lives at the beach north of Wellington, and works at @atbtattoostudio and @union.tattoo. John is interested in all styles of tattooing, but in recent years has been concentrating on large Japanese styled tattoos.
