I don’t believe I’ve ever made a personal post on here. I typically stick to the content you’re here for, TATTOOS. Alas, this is my 15th year tattooing, so maybe it’s apropos to share a bit about myself. I’ve been a maker my whole life. I love creative challenges and problem solving. I enjoy tattooing because I find it incredibly healing to be connected to people in all the ways that this work allows me to be. I admire my clients and am grateful to share time and space with them every day. This art form is just a conduit to be connected and the vulnerability I receive from our exchange is a teacher to me in many ways. I live in Portland, but have lived many lives in many cities in North America. I believe in magic. I’ve been with my partner Emerson for 15 years and I have a dog named River, 2 peacocks, 11 chickens and a dome I call home. My friends are sprawling throughout the globe, but they are in my heart always. I hate texting and have been known to call everyone whether they like it or not. Leaving voicemails is a beloved hobby along with interior design and shoes. If I could, I would eat ice cream after every meal and if it’s not been obvious, I’m definitely a Leo.
