Had so much fun pushing a little outside my normal style with this two day Hanya piece at @tommystattooconvention this past weekend. We were even fortunate enough to win first place large color at the show! Was fun to change it up and really push outside my norm by doing traditional Japanese inspired elements, using black and grey shading and even a little traditional style line work. Overall a long two days but very fun and stoked on the results. Big thanks to my client Pat for sitting like a champion and being a badass. And thanks to @reference_87 for the awesome Hanya reference that made the basis for this design. Thanks also to @tommystattooconvention for putting on such a fun show!
