Since sharing my decision to step away from tattooing, I’ve been getting a lot of questions, so I wanted to give you some clarity.

Right now I’m taking time to recover, the swelling in my hands has been improving and my fingers are feeling more mobile, but my wrists are still stiff and sensitive. Overworking them can cause pain to return, so for now I have to put tattooing on hold.

But hopefully in a few months I’ll be able to finish the projects I’ve already started. I have some exciting large-scale pieces in Peru waiting to be completed, and also a large scale project in Poland, which I see as a solid reason to travel back to Europe.

I’m not going to take new projects, and I understand that waiting requires patience from those I’ve already started working with.

Please know that I deeply appreciate your understanding and support
💗Birds are always a great choice, and this piece is one of my favorite tattoos of 2024. Created in the enchanting atmosphere of Amsterdam, it carries a bit of the city’s magic with it ✨This piece was created during my last trip to Amsterdam for a wonderful client Helen, who traveled all the way from Germany. This is the third tattoo we’ve worked on together, and her trust means a lot to me.

This time, we designed a delicate flower composition that flows from her shoulder to the front of her chest - a visible and intimate area that always feels so special to work on. Creating something for such a prominent space requires extra care and focus on the smallest details.

I’m always deeply honored to bring these designs to life and to be part of someone’s story in this way 🌱If you told me a year ago that I’d stop tattooing and give up my studio, I wouldn’t have believed it. But here we are.

And my biggest fuck-up of last year - holding onto a space for a whole year when I only worked there for two months, between my trips to Europe and the jungle. I thought I’d come back and keep tattooing, but you already know how that turned out.

I lost a lot of money, but more than that, I learned something important: when something no longer serves you, no matter how much you’ve invested, holding on only makes it harder to let go.

This week, I finally closed that chapter. Packed up the last of my things and moved out. I thought I’d feel okay since I hadn’t been there in months, but it turned out to be way more emotional than I expected. I made that space for myself, met incredible people there, spent so many hours creating.

This past year has been one long lesson in letting go. Of places, people, ideas, even parts of myself.

It’s not always easy, but it always feels lighter.

And this tattoo, done in my studio, feels like a reminder what I’ve learned - life moves like the ocean, constantly changing, and all we can do to is learn to move with it 🐋
